Buster is a Swedish artist, born in Stockholm in 1968. Hollingworth has had his daily life at the Inuti studio in Stockholm for almost 20 years. A studio embracing adult artists with intellectual disabilities. Acrylic on canvas is Buster's favorite material.
With nature as pervasive in Hollingworth's art, he most often paints flowers and trees and does not limit himself when it comes to the size of the canvas. Hollingworth's respect for fir trees is clearly expressed in his art. Since he got lost in the forest as a child, he has not gone out there alone and today he never turns his back to a fir tree. When Buster paints, he often tells stories and likes to paint words into his pictures; quotes from books, movies or love statements. He quickly perceives new word combinations and incorporates them in his register.
In the summer he often bikes around Gotland and afterward, he reproduces his experiences as free improvisations. Buster freely embraces the impressions that surround him and as he soaks into his inner world, from which, without hesitation and with bold brushstrokes, he sends the images out into the world as a fresh greeting to us who regard his works.
