Born in 1975 in Denmark. Steffen has been an artist on Kunstskolen for voksne udviklingshæmmede in Copenhagen for 20 years.

Steffen's great love and admiration for the Royal House clearly permeates his universe. His portraits of the Royal Family, have especially aroused great interest both, at home and abroad. Steffen also paints portraits of musicians, actors, and famous painters like Picasso.

Maahr’s works radiate a great enthusiasm for life with happy colors and large but neat brushstrokes.
