Collection: Gimiro
His artist name is Gimiro
It is important for him to be inspired by others, but he insist that all his work is original and created by him. He photograph certain elements, such as a leaf, a statue, or a foot individually, and then draw them in his own style and often take those sketches and turn them into 3D objects. to include authentic objects in his works. It is essential for Gimiro to create everything from scratch, as it ensures that each piece is a unique and authentic extension of his thoughts and feelings.
His drawing technique involves placing millions of dots on paper by hand to create the desired image. This method, known as “stippling,” forms images from numerous hand-placed dots. To create shadows, he vary the number of dots, using fewer for lighter areas and more for darker areas. Some areas may appear completely black, but upon closer inspection, they are revealed to be made up of dots.
