With every art piece Jannik shows us not just incredible promise but a peek into the dark fantastical world that he inhabits. Born in Denmark in 1989, Jannik's first introduction to the paints was through his father painting on porcelain and canvas. By 17, he started expressing himself on the canvas. Jannik's painting isn't the one you can see in a hurry. The elaborate world he creates demands your attention. He raises questions on how he sees himself and the world around him. Are the creatures in his artworks something  you have seen before or other-worldly? He compels you to make your own stories.
