Collection: Maria Rasmussen

Maria er kunstner på Kunstskolen ”Snurretoppen” i Horsens, hvor hun er en aktiv pige med masser af god energi og mod på tingene. Maria er optaget af at lave malerier, tegninger, collager, perleplader og keramik – interesserne er mangfoldige. Hun har en boblende iderigdom, og når Maria kommer i skole efter weekenden, har hun bogstaveligt talt ofte tasken fuld af nye ideer. Det er meget personlige værker, der kredser om de ting, der har betydning i Marias liv. Maria samler inspiration i hendes nærmiljø og på hendes færd rundt om i byen. I nogle perioder tager hun billeder med sit kamera, som hun tegner og maler efter. I andre perioder samler hun små ting, som hun bruger i finurlige tableauer.

Maria er lige nu aktuel i dokumentarserien ”Fis i Paletten” på TV SYD PLAY.

Maria is an artist at the Art School “Snurretoppen” in Horsens, where she is an active young woman with lots of positive energy and a strong willingness to take on new challenges. Maria is deeply engaged in creating paintings, drawings, collages, pegboard bead works, and ceramics—her interests are wide-ranging. She has a bubbling wealth of ideas, and when Maria returns to school after the weekend, she quite literally often arrives with her bag full of new ideas.

Her works are highly personal and revolve around the things that matter in Maria’s life. She gathers inspiration from her immediate surroundings and from her journeys around the city. During some periods, she takes photographs with her camera, which she then uses as the basis for her drawings and paintings. In other periods, she collects small objects that she incorporates into whimsical tableaux.

Maria is currently featured in the documentary series “Fis i Paletten” on TV SYD PLAY.
